Good morning Carol! Thank you so much for sharing your story with the world. At your young age and heart you gave me hope that things will work out. Your last message where you finished the outside of your trailer really made me think its not about the destination, its the journey. With you taking the weekend off to recharge and refresh to come back to do the inside of the trailer gave an insite to say that you can do this. It just needs bite size energy time frames. Thank you

Dear Carol,
You are a veritable force of nature, even with the Lupus that you mentioned! If you're at all motivated to apply some of that very impressive energy to reversing the Lupus, you might like to check out the Goodbye Lupus website. https://www.goodbyelupus.com/?s2-ssl=yes
Wishing you well in all ways.

I was directed to your Alt vid on YT and just had to say- YAY YOU!!! and I'm (nearly) right there with you! I live in Deer Isle, Maine in an old artists' camp and have put my thumbprint on everything I can... and I love it so. My approach was much different from yours in the initial purchase, but nearly every major and minor improvement project has involved reclaimed materials- or paid for by collecting and selling scrap metal (a limited thing as I don't have a truck, but every bit helps!) If you ever want to trade stories with an only slightly younger sister, You have my email! I hope this finds you well-- and HAPPY! Best regards, Abbey (E.)

I watched a video on your beautiful Dragon’s Nest. It is a work of art, heart, muscles, brain and love! I’m 75 and looking to downsize. My husband is 80 and we would need some help with the muscle work, but can do some things. My husband was in maintenance and is an electrician, plumber, Jack-of-all-trades, but his knees and energy are on the downhill side. I am an artist who taught school to little humans until I retired, and I can paint and hammer and help. Thank you for sharing your journey.

Hi Carol, I cannot see what I am writing for some reason, since the type comes up white on a white background, but I posted a comment on the Exploring Alternatives YouTube video after watching the video of your vardo. I want to sat ghow much I admire you and your tiny house and homestead, and I am doing everything I can from my Ontario cabin to support tiny homes in this area. There is a tonwhip - Tay Valley - next to mine, what allows tinyt homes, but they have pretty strict rules. I hope one day to get involved in the building of a tiny house community somewhere, as I think this is the way forward for afrfordable housing and dealing with the housing crisis all across the country./?We must not allow those in power to determine how everybody should live. People in Ontario who have jobs are now living in their cars, sneaking to live in their storage sheds, or otherwise living among the "invisible" homeless, while those who have no alternative are riding around in buses all night to have a warm place to stay. This is such a ludicrous situation in a wealthy country like Canada, but the percentage of working poor is growing at an unimaginable rate! Things will come to a head at some point, and all this could totally be avoided. But you know all this. Thanks for sharing your story, and may things go well with y our living situation, legal-wuise. I think we are building a critical mass which has to have an impact. I have a friend who is also involved in the SCA - so delightful to see your beekeepers outfit! Bright blessings!
