I thought about inking over this drawing with
the Wacom tablet, and in fact I did so. I'll let you evaluate
which one is better - I personally perfer the unedited version
done in pencil. I even tried coloring it in, however I could not
decide what colors to use.
This guy looks like he could have come out of a Taito
Bubble Bobble video game. I was concerned that I had merely
drawn some subconscious monster that laid latent in my mind after
many years of playing. So I actually went and I looked up indexes
of the monsters appearing in the game. I looked at the images
of monsters, bosses, friends, foes, etc. looking for this specific
critter. I couldn't find it, so appearantly he's original.
